CALEDONIA—The Argyle Street Bridge in Caledonia is once again being temporarily closed for an annual inspection. As of publication, the bridge was expected to be closed daily from Wednesday, July 8 to Friday, July 10, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Vehicles will be unable to use the bridge during this time and must instead use the Caledonia bypass or travel to York to cross the river. The west sidewalk of the bridge will remain open to pedestrians wishing to cross.
Haldimand County has stated that emergency access will also remain open during the closure.
