Caledonia Fair announces hiring of new manager

CALEDONIA—The Caledonia Agricultural Society is delighted to announce the hiring of Ian Thompson as the new Caledonia Fair Manager. Thompson will be replacing long-serving current manager, Vickie Peart, who is set to retire after this year’s fair.

“Ian has extensive knowledge of the Agriculture Society, the fair, and of Caledonia. He also brings a passion to lead and market the Riverside Exhibition Centre,” says Caledonia Agricultural Society President, Allan Hedley.

“It has been an interesting journey watching Caledonia Fair evolve from a simple country fair into a year-round enterprise,” says Peart. “I know Ian will be a mindful steward of the organization and wish him the best of luck!”
