CALEDONIA—The Caledonia Fair’s annual 50/50 and quilt draws are back. COVID-19 may have put the brakes on the running of the live Fair in 2020, but not on these two fundraising traditions.
With no activity on the fairgrounds in recent months, the fundraisers are particularly important in 2020 as the Caledonia Agricultural Society (Caledonia Fair) have been unable to run other fundraisers this year.
Thanks to the generosity of the Grand River Quilters’ Guild, the fair is offering up a beautiful 73” x 96” machine-sewn quilt, valued at $1,000. The quilt was pieced together by Dineke Yoshimoto and sewn by Bernadette Forbes.
