CALEDONIA—On November 28, 2024 the Caldonia BIA put on a great show at Kinsmen Park for the annual Light Up Night. Approximately 600 people endured the cold to gather around the gazebo to enjoy the Christmas songs by the band “The Hype”. After a brief introduction and thank you from BIA Coordinator Kathy Marshall and Ward 3 Councillor Dan Lawrence, children were invited up to the gazebo to dance and sing along with the band.
The big reveal followed, thanks to the hard work of Michael Montgomery and his crew of volunteers. The switch was thrown, and the park came to life with a magical illumination of lights. Attendees were also invited to take a free wagon ride to and from Grand Trunk Railway Station to get their photo taken with Santa
