CALEDONIA—The big winner in Habitat for Humanity Haldimand County Chapter’s latest Catch the Ace draw was Ken Burley of Caledonia, who won $6,366 on September 23, 2020.
Three Catch the Ace games have been held in total. This most recent game began on October 23, 2019. Over 3,000 tickets were sold and $10,610 was raised for Habitat Haldimand.
“The Haldimand Chapter set out with the goal to build a home and they were able to accomplish that goal, within just a few years time. After this final draw, our Habitat Chapter will have raised enough funds to pay off the remaining expenses related to the home built in Dunnville. The volunteers at our Haldimand Chapter have dedicated countless hours of time and support for their community and have decided it’s time to close chapter activity,” said Sandra Sacchetti, Media Co-ordinator for Habitat for Humanity Haldimand County Chapter.
