DUNNVILLE—Summer is here and the Youth Impact Centre is back at Lions Park on Wednesday evenings offering sports and other activities for the youth in Dunnville and the surrounding area.
These activities are provided free of charge for the youth and are run by vetted staff and volunteers from the Youth Impact Centre to provide a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for teenagers during the summer weeks.
The program started last Wednesday with youth participating in outdoor volleyball, paddlesmash – which is described as Pickleball meets Spikeball – cornhole, and more. Young people are also provided with free barbecue hotdogs and other refreshments.
The Youth Impact Centre understands that many times young people simply need to find a place to belong and where they feel valued and loved. Therefore, providing an outlet at Lions Park helps to accomplish this goal.
This program at Lions Park (near the playground) runs every Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m., July 3 to August 21.

Thanks to the generous donations of the community, the Youth Impact Centre can offer these activities free of charge to the youth of Haldimand County. Together we are making a difference in the lives of our teenagers.
