HALDIMAND—Haldimand County Detachment remains committed to traffic safety on their roadways throughout Haldimand County as a two-day traffic safety campaign focus was conducted on Tuesday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
During the two-day “Safe on 6” enforcement, members of the Haldimand County OPP, along with other detachments and the Highway Safety Division, focused their patrol on Highway 6 from Tobermory in the Bruce Peninsula to Port Dover in Norfolk County.
The Safe on 6 campaign focused on the “Big 4” causal factors that result in injuries from motor vehicle collisions, which include speeding, impaired driving, distracted driving, and failing to wear seatbelts.
