CAYUGA—Volunteers are preparing to sweep down on, and across, the streets of Cayuga on May 4, 2019 to clean up the town.
This will be the second Cayuga Cares cleanup event. Volunteers will meet at the Village Green in Cayuga at 8 a.m.
Teams will fan out to specific locations, such as the riverfront, skate park, ballpark, Grand Vista Trail, and roads leading into town.
The group is hoping to gather “100 volunteers with a passion for our amazing town”, said Denise Postma, who is helping to organize the event. Volunteers will pick up garbage, mulch gardens, sweep sidewalks, and more.
