Cayuga Firefighter’s Breakfast still on despite postponed CayugaFest

CAYUGA—As many people in Haldimand County have read already, Cayuga-Fest has been postponed until 2020.

The Cayuga firefighters have been hosting the Firefighters’ Breakfast in conjunction with the festival since it started and for many years before that.

They have decided to continue to have the breakfast as one of their fundraising events. It will be Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Cayuga Fire Station, 11 Thorburn Street. The breakfast will have scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, hash browns, pancakes, juice, and coffee. Cost: 12 years and over is $12, 5 to 8 years is $8, and under 5 is free.
