CAYUGA—The Cayuga Library and Heritage Centre finished its construction in August of this year. Since amalgamating the library and museum facilities into one building, there has been an increase in library circulation, members, and visitors to the building.
As of November 30, 2019, the overall circulation (of digital and print materials) has increased by 10% over the previous 11 months. From 2018 to 2019, specific genres have had increases in circulation, including a 45% increase in circulation of children’s books. Many other collections have also experienced increases, including adult non-fiction books.
