Cayuga Seniors enjoy June luncheon
KOHLER—Members of the Cayuga Seniors Club have been missing their regular potluck lunch gatherings, so a special luncheon was organized for June 17, 2020 at Shelly’s Family Dining. Donna Armstrong explained, “We wanted to do something special for them after being housebound for so long. Members appreciated the phone call.” The club provided a meal of ham, salads, buns, and “Grandma’s spice cake” to 111 current paid members. Restaurant owner Shelly Wilkins said, “It’s wonderful to be able to do something for the seniors; the drive-thru is a wonderful idea.” Pictured above (l-r) in the “drive-thru” area, Johanne Tremblay and Jeanne Renton were happy to receive their meals from volunteer Eleanor Bell.
