CAYUGA—The Cayuga Summer Festival kicked off on Saturday, July 18, with Cayuga firefighters serving a full breakfast for a nominal fee. Festival organizer Erica Riewald faced a difficult decision this year as the threat of thunderstorms and smoke from wildfires prompted the relocation of many of the day’s events to the Cayuga Arena. Despite the last-minute change, the community turned out in full force, with the arena packed with families enjoying the day’s activities.
