CAYUGA—Friday the 13th turned out to be a lucky day for those in the Cayuga area, as the Cayuga United Church hosted a tasty takeout Chili Supper.
CAYUGA—Reg Wilson (left) got to enjoy the hearty homemade chili – filled to the brim with meat, several types of beans, and plenty of veggies – with a huge piece of carrot cake to finish on a sweet note. He is shown receiving his dinner from Pamela Jarrett. 
CAYUGA—Donalda Mitchell organized Cayuga United Church’s Chili Supper on Friday, March 13, 2026. Mitchell said this is only one of the church’s many fundraisers planned for this year, with their next major event being a golf tournament on May 30. The $15 takeout meal included a large bowl of homemade chili packed full of flavour, a roll, a side of carrot and celery slices, and a piece of carrot cake big enough for two.
