DUNNVILLE—On September 13, 2023, Officers and Members of Amity Lodge #32 Dunnville and St. John’s Lodge #35 Cayuga met for the 170th annual meeting at the Masonic Lodge in Dunnville. “The spirit of friendship and visitation between the Lodges began when the only form of transportation between Cayuga and Dunnville was the Grand River, and Canada wasn’t yet a country,” said Worshipful Master W. Bro. Duane Lambert. “Since that time the relationship … has seen many generations of Masons carry on the yearly occasion of visitation. Many members of each respective Lodge have gone on to leadership roles within Haldimand County, the Province of Ontario, and beyond.” —Haldimand Press photo by Valerie Posthumus.
