Check out our first ever Staycation Haldimand summer guide

The Haldimand Press is always looking for new ideas to bring our readers additional content. From our unit pages, like the summer camp registration page on Page 14, to our first-ever Staycation Haldimand summer guide.

While our focus will always be on presenting weekly news and happenings to our subscribers, The Press wanted to expand our reach. You may see this summer guide throughout Haldimand over the next few months (and should have it inserted in this week’s edition) for free.

Our hope is that this guide will showcase the best Haldimand has to offer to visiting tourists who may never have heard of, let alone visited, some of Haldimand’s biggest attractions and businesses. We expect that some residents may also be missing out on a few of Haldimand’s hidden gems, so we hope that you may find somewhere new to explore this summer right here in your own backyard as well.

We encourage you to take a look through and consider checking out one of the adventures, locations, or businesses that you have never visited before. Whether you’re looking for something to do with your family or if you’re looking for a new restaurant to try out, we hope there is something for everyone to discover. Best of all, spending dollars at home helps boost the local economy, and you might find a new favourite spot!

Do you have a favourite spot to visit that wasn’t included in the guide? Or perhaps you want to share memories of one that was included? If so, we’d love for you to share your recommendations and stories with us through a letter to the editor by emailing your submission to publishers@haldimandpress.com.

Submissions should be within 300 words; submission does not guarentee publication and The Press reserves the right to edit submission for length, accuracy, and grammar.
