The 4-H Cloverbuds have been busy! On May 15 we joined the Pizza Club (above). The Cloverbud groups rotated through four different stations. The Pizza members showed them how pizza was made starting with the grain, different types of flour, spices, and sauce ingredients. They also learned how to set a table, make a pizza craft, and then made their own pizza from dough prepared by the Pizza Club. What a wonderful night! The Pizza Club members were a shining example of what 4-H is all about: “Learn to do by doing!” A huge thank you to the club members and their leaders, Renee Hedley and Cindy Murphy. The Cloverbuds joined other Haldimand 4-H members for the annual Judging Event on May 30 (below). These young members did an excellent job at judging the various classes, eagerly giving their reasons for their placings.
