Council approves $96,000 grant for Caledonia Fairgrounds
CALEDONIA—Cayuga Mutual, its employees, and its Board of Directors have had a long-standing relationship with the Caledonia Agricultural Society (CAS) and the Caledonia Fair. Here, Board Chairman Charlie Snyder (left) presents a generous donation of $50,000 on behalf of the entire Board. Accepting on behalf of CAS are Vickie Peart and Don Douglas. This donation brings the committee closer to their overall goal of $2 million for the Fairground Building Campaign. Renovations will allow the building to be used year-round for education and entertainment. There will also be accessible meeting rooms, better acoustics and modern multi-media facilities.
