HALDIMAND—Mayor Ken Hewitt and members of Council aired some concerns related to the continued restrictions directed by the provincial and federal governments as they face growing backlash from the community.
“I have to admit, I’m getting lots of emails,” said Ward 5 Councillor Rob Shirton. “People are getting to the point where they’re ready to say ‘screw COVID.’ It’s unfortunate, but people are getting frustrated with this lockdown.”
