DUNNVILLE—Haldimand County is looking for provincial funding in order to fix a stretch of road along Highway 3 in Dunnville through the provincial government’s Connecting Links Program.

“Haldimand County received funding to repave the connecting link section of Broad Street in Dunnville from Inman Road to Oak Street in 2020. The section from Oak to Pine is the next stretch of road that would need to be repaved and is the section of connecting link with the next lowest condition rating,” said Kris Franklin, Manager of Engineering Services for the County.

The program is an application-based grant offered to the 77 communities across Ontario that feature ‘connecting links’, which are roads that connect two ends of a provincial highway through a community or to an international or interprovincial border crossing.
