HALDIMAND—Council recently discussed the costs and details related to three separate emergency repairs conducted on County-owned community halls over the last few months.
The first, and largest, repair impacted the Haldimand Agricultural Community Centre in Cayuga. Following up on a report of a furnace not producing heat, a local contractor indicated a total replacement was required. Shortly after the first furnace was replaced, a second furnace also failed, requiring replacement.
