HALDIMAND—Haldimand Council discussed three separate improvement projects as part of their agenda during last week’s session, all of which would be undertaken with funding from the Downtown Areas Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Financial Incentives Program.

The first of the projects relates to various facade improvements to a property located at 35 Caithness Street East in Caledonia. The application for funding on the project was received by the County in June of 2019, but was put on hold as all funding for the project had been exhausted at that time. In 2020, the project was then put off to deal with the immediate needs that arose as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
