HALDIMAND—Poor dental hygiene amongst seniors can lead to many problematic and uncomfortable conditions, including root decay, gum disease, and thrush.
In order to help low-income residents avoid these issues, the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit has implemented the Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program.
Designed by the Province of Ontario, the program gives free, routine dental care for eligible seniors 65 years or older.
