Fear of setting precedent for future development, lack of emergency access top concerns
DUNNVILE—County staff recommended against approval of an application to build a year-round home on a vacant lot fronting off a private road, Hoto Line, in Dunnville.
Ashley Taylor, Planner for the County, briefed Council on the application last week: “In terms of the planning analysis, the crux of the planning matter is good land use planning, life and property safety, County liability, and future financial pressures.”
