County water & wastewater user rates to increase 2.1% this year

HALDIMAND—Haldimand Council held the first of its three main budget meetings virtually on January 13, 2022, reviewing the Draft Rate Supported Operating Budget and the Capital Budget for water and wastewater operations.

The rate-supported budget relates to the operation of the County’s sewer and water treatment facilities. Currently, Haldimand has approximately $215 million worth of distribution, treatment, and collection assets.
