JARVIS—A reunion of sorts took place at the Jarvis Library on March 31, 2022 as members of the Jarvis Knitting Club were back together in one group for the first time in two years. The Jarvis Knitting Club has been meeting at the library since September of 2013.
Pandemic restrictions required the club to divide into smaller groups for meetings and some members have not seen each other during that time. The creative collective is happy to gather once again to share their love of knitting, crochet, and other fibre arts, as well as each other’s company.
Cathy Hill says, “It’s like coming home again.” Library staff member Wanda Nelson agrees saying, “It’s nice seeing everybody back together.”
New members are always welcome to join in as they meet on Thursdays from 2-4 p.m. Nelson says they are looking forward to participating in the World Wide Knit in Public Day on June 11, 2022.
