Crime Stoppers of Haldimand & Norfolk enters its 32nd year of serving the residents of Haldimand and Norfolk Counties in assisting law enforcement through anonymous tip information received from the public.
We are pleased and proud of our accomplishments over the years; these accomplishments being recognized once again in 2019 by local law enforcement, the Ontario Association of Crime Stoppers, where we received five awards, and by Crime Stoppers International, who bestowed the Paul D. Bordreaux Co-ordinator of the Year award on our Program Co-ordinator.
In the year ending 2019, our program saw an increase in arrests as a result of anonymous tips received with 109 charges laid, $31,027 in narcotics recovered; $42,595,454 since our inception in 1988.
