HALDIMAND—From large scale marches throughout the province on Canada Day to a sea of orange t-shirts being worn by people across the country in remembrance of the lives lost to the residential school system, it’s clear that Indigenous rights issues are at the top of the list of cultural priorities for the people of Canada currently.

Close to home, a number of activities have taken place recently that shine a light on both the need for reconciliation as well as ongoing land rights issues.
