DUNNVILLE—On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, the Dunnville Chamber of Commerce held their first Annual General Meeting (AGM) since early 2019, when the meeting was unable to continue as planned due to member concerns over bylaws.
Incoming Chamber President Marianne Kidd was elected at the recent meeting. Of the 2019 AGM, she explained, “At the time, the Chamber was operating under bylaws that were ineffective … and without proper bylaws many items could not be addressed.”
A committee was formed to establish a new set of bylaws and in November 2019, members voted in the new bylaws. A nomination process then began for a new slate of directors.
