DUNNVILLE—The Dunnville Lions’ Home, Garden, and Craft Show is held every third weekend of April at the Dunnville Community Lifespan Centre and Memorial Arena. This year, Easter fell on this weekend. The Lions consulted with some of their long-time supporters and respected their input by adjusting the show days to Thursday and Saturday, rather than Friday and Saturday. “We are very much appreciative of those that chose to participate in this very important Lions event,” said organizer Joan Allen.

Thirty-four vendors were set up on the arena floor, nine service clubs and charities were set up in the arena’s foyer, and 22 crafters were set up in the community room. “We gave a warm Dunnville welcome to several new crafters and vendors, some came all the way from Mississauga,” said Allen. “Many of our participants told us they were pleased with the contacts and sales they made and asked us to reserve a spot for them next year. One vendor was able to grow her sales because of Easter; her products were handmade Easter chocolate and gift baskets! She had a line up most of the time.”
