DUNNVILLE—Dunnville’s Own Tiny Stitchers (DOTS) are continuing their efforts to give back to people, and animals, in our community and beyond. Recently, a few members of the group delivered 18 pet beds to the Niagara SPCA’s Welland location. “Our members are saving their scraps from quilts and various sewing projects, and a few of us girls are filling pillowcases with them for pet beds for dogs and cats,” explained DOTS member Lyn Roberts. “The new owners of these animals will be able to take the bed home with them as we’ll continue to make and donate more beds as they are made.” Niagara SPCA posted the above photo to Facebook and stated, “Thank you! Drop by any time.” Roberts is shown above with Trina McCormick, Lori Lymburner, and Ann Masonieve.   —Submitted photo.
