Thousands of eggs, spring critters, and family fun shared over Easter weekend

CALEDONIA—The Easter Bunny brought 500 pounds of chocolate in the form of 32,000 eggs to the Caledonia BIA’s seventh annual Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday, April 18, 2025. The event was held outside the Haldimand County Caledonia Centre.

DUNNVILLE—Sixteen-month-old Mateo had his eyes on the prize as his dad Joseph Botelho helped him hunt for chocolate eggs at Calvary Pentecostal Church’s egg hunt on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
9-year-old Freya Mius was one of many children to get their face painted by volunteer Leteha Keen.
One of the youth group volunteers, Summer Booker, helped out by making cotton candy, while other volunteers handed out popcorn as well, satisfying all tastes.
Prior to the hunt, guests were invited into the gym to experience some praise by the church’s youth group as well; below are some members of the group leading the gathered crowd.

DUNNVILLE—Calvary Pentecostal Church in Dunnville held its annual Easter Hunt on Saturday, April 19, 2025. The first of two hunts went in the morning and drew a large crowd, which would be followed up by a second gathering in the afternoon for a second round of fun. Inside the church’s gym were a variety of treats and activities.
