Every child and youth has a right to safety and well-being

HALDIMAND—In October, Children’s Aid Societies raise awareness about the rights of children and youth to safety and well-being, and the responsibility of adults and community services to help children, youth, and their families who need support.

On Ontario Dress Purple Day we will join together to celebrate our community that cares for kids!

The Children’s Aid Society of Haldimand & Norfolk (CASHN) is collaborating with local school boards and inviting all staff, students, and community members to Dress Purple on Thursday, October 24, 2019 to help raise awareness about the importance of child safety and well-being.

CASHN is a non-profit organization that protects children and youth up to the age of 18 from physical, sexual, and emotional harm, and neglect. We believe that working in collaboration with families and other community supports is vital for our children’s well-being and the overall health of our community.
