HALDIMAND—“In today’s digital age, Canadians rely heavily on having access to affordable, reliable, and consistent high-speed internet. Unfortunately, many people, particularly in rural Canada, still don’t have the access that they need,” said the Honourable Diane Finley, MP for Haldimand Norfolk.

Finley recently launched local consultations to help determine the level of access to broadband that people in Haldimand and Norfolk are experiencing. Consultations are expected to take place in a phased approach, with phase one consisting of a survey to determine where the gaps in coverage exist in the area.

“In order to develop the right plan that will connect everyone in Haldimand Norfolk, I think that we first need to find out where the gaps in coverage are. That’s why I’m asking everyone to visit my website and fill out the survey on their internet access, even if they think their access is adequate,” Finley said.
