WATERFORD—On April 29, 2021 at approximately 9:55 a.m. four stations from the Norfolk County Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on Angling Road outside of Waterford.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered heavy smoke and flame. At the time of the fire the house was occupied by two people. One occupant suffered burns and smoke inhalation while attempting to fight the fire and was transported by Paramedic Services to Norfolk General Hospital. The other occupant was downstairs at the time, heard the smoke alarm, and was able to safely escape.
