DUNNVILLE—Fire Department Lieutenant Brent Ricker, left, and firefighter Barry Ricker were at the Dunnville Farmers’ Market on Saturday, October 12, 2024 as part of Fire Prevention Week. The Haldimand County Fire Department was out on three locations Saturday distributing colouring books and pamphlets about fire safety. This year’s Fire Prevention theme is “Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!” so the pair was also sharing lots of helpful information about the importance of working smoke alarms.
