CAYUGA—When Kristina Costabile was in high school at Cayuga Secondary School considering her future, she thought healthcare would be a good way to apply her interest in science. Little did she know that her passion for sports would lead to her dream career.
After growing up in a household where sports were always on the television, she realized while studying nursing that that was not the right path for her. She found herself asking, “How can I apply my love for sports to a profession?”
The answer to that question became the new goal – sports reporter. Costabile enrolled in the Advanced Diploma in Journalism program at Mohawk College, making sports the main focus.
