CALEDONIA—The Caledonia Agricultural Society is pushing past Phase One fundraising for the completion of the Riverside Exhibition Centre, currently under construction on the Caledonia Fairgrounds.
“Our Directors were so encouraged by the great response to fundraising in a relatively short amount of time for Phase One. That, plus some economies and practical issues, led them to decide to press on to Phase Two,” said Caledonia Agricultural Society President, Allan Hedley. Phase One focused on the main large open hall space of 14,000 square feet, a kitchen, meeting facilities, and a stage performance space, all with heating and air conditioning and attention to sound quality. Phase Two will build a new annex space with a lobby, new washrooms, concession space, and meeting and storage space.
