HAGERSVILLE—Country music fans better get ready for some serious girl power at this year’s Hagersville Rocks. Genevieve Fisher, Terra Lightfoot, Mackenzie Leigh Meyer, and headliner Meghan Patrick will perform during the two-day music festival. For some of the ladies, this year will be their second and third time performing for the crowd in Hagersville.
Last year was Mackenzie Leigh Meyer’s first time, and she’s excited to be welcomed back to perform again this year. She’ll be singing songs from her recently released debut EP Dive Bar Diva when she takes the stage on Saturday, July 27, 2019. The Press was able to chat with Meyer and ask her a few questions:
What do you like best about performing at country music festivals?
The people that attend country music festivals are always ready to have a good time. It makes performing fun because the crowd is always energetic.
This is your second year at Hagersville Rocks. What are you looking forward to most?
Hagersville Rocks was the highlight of my summer last year. I am really looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces at this year’s festival. Everyone was very welcoming and supportive, and it made the day a lot of fun. I’m also really stoked they’re featuring a female headliner. I’m really looking forward to Meghan’s set!
