Great Art for Great Lakes selects artists for projects

HALDIMAND—In March 2019, Great Art for Great Lakes (GAGL), in partnership with Haldimand County, posted a call for artists, makers, and community engagers to submit a proposal for a community-engagement project to strengthen our relationship with the Great Lakes through participatory art.

They are very pleased to introduce the Haldimand County artists selected:

Lacie Williamson

Project Title: Inheritance

Join Lacie in creating, INHERITANCE – a site-specific multimedia installation that combines graffiti techniques, sculptural installation, and sound recording along the shores of Lake Erie. As a participatory art project you are invited to attend and learn more about can control, and the techniques used in graffiti art, as we explore the importance of Lake Erie and its stories to guide us from the past through the present and into the future.
