HALDIMAND—Haldimand County Council approved the 2019 budget guidelines in the preparation of the 2019 operating and capital budgets.
The guidelines for the 2019 Draft Tax supported-Capital Budget and Forecast include a 1% increase in the tax levy to fund the capital requirements for the capital budget, a capital-related expenditures targeted to be at 35% of the total tax levy, and to maintain an 80:20 ratio of capital expenditures for replacement to new projects over the 10-year forecast period.
