HAGERSVILLE—For three senior skaters in the Hagersville Skating Club (HSC), their efforts this season have paid off as they qualified for Provincials. Though the all-Ontario event has now been cancelled, HSC is thrilled to recognize these club members for their accomplishments this year.
Lindsay Townsend, 18, who is in her final season with HSC, qualified after ranking in the top 54 for the Star 6 level. This would have been her second time competing at Provincials. Abby Meahan, 16, is also a second time qualifier and secured her spot by ranking in the top 71 for Star 5. First-time qualifier Aubrey Dawson, 14, is also among the top 71 in the province for Star 5. The Stars represent the level of difficulty being performed.
