HAGERSVILLE—Organizers of the Hagersville Rocks Music Festival are once again showing their support to the frontline healthcare workers at West Haldimand General Hospital (WHGH), who have been working day and night since the pandemic began nearly three years ago.
On December 20, 2022, Festival Committee Member Rob Phillips presented the West Haldimand Hospital and Healthcare Foundation (WHHHF) with a $2,500 cheque that will go toward supporting the highest priorities at WHGH.
The electrifying music festival, which saw more than 2,000 people in attendance, was held this past July, 2022.
The Hagersville Rocks Music Festival showcased an all-Canadian lineup, including CCMA multiple award winner Aaron Pritchett.
“I know a lot of thought went into choosing the West Haldimand Hospital and Healthcare Foundation as the recipient of this donation, and we are extremely grateful for their support,” said Lisa Hostein, Executive Director of the WHHHF. “We look forward to attending this exciting event each year and are so appreciative of the hard work the organizers and community volunteers put into making this music festival possible.”
The West Haldimand Hospital and Healthcare Foundation sincerely thanks the Hagersville Rocks Music Festival for their support in raising these funds in support of WHGH.
The Hagersville Rocks Music Festival will take place on July 14 and 15 this year. See the Friday lineup announcement on Page 6. The Saturday lineup has yet to be announced.
While the province provides funds for hospital operations at WHGH, the community’s support is vital for the funding of hospital equipment. Anyone looking to help the hospital can donate by visiting visit whgh.ca or by contacting foundation@whgh.ca.
