HAGERSVILLE—Some of the 1st Hagersville Scouts attended the Scout Brigade of Fort George from September 13 to 15, 2019 in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The theme for the weekend was “Life of a Solider in 1812”. There were over 1,100 participants from Sudbury, Brockville, North Bay, Bolton, Bancroft, Orangeville, Shelburne, Bramalea, Bowmanville, Hamilton, Brantford, Oakville, Enniskillen, Willowdale, Burlington, Guelph, and the United States. The participants were divided into US 6th, 8th (The King’s), RNR, 49th, Fencibles, and Artillery regiments.
