HAGERSVILLE—Crime Stoppers of Haldimand and Norfolk is pleased to announce that the winner of the 2018/2019 Crime Stoppers’ William Robert Courtnage Community Service Bursary is Elisha Fogg of Hagersville Secondary School. Fogg will receive a $1,000 bursary in recognition of the contributions that she made in improving and developing the concept of Student Crime Stoppers in her school.
In order to apply for the award, students must write a short essay.
“I wrote about how Crime Stoppers uses the media, how it uses students and uses the community to bring it all together as one,” said Fogg. “The scholarship, of $1,000 means a lot to me because it’s going to help me pursue my post-secondary education in the Nursing Program at Brock University.”
