CALEDONIA—For many Haldimand 4-H members and their families, Achievement Day at the Caledonia Fair is a highlight of the year. The September 30 event featured members of the Beef, Dairy, and Rabbit Clubs competing in showmanship and conformation classes. During each club show, spectators and fair visitors observe the skills members have developed while caring for their project animals. The top two show people from each club then compete in each livestock category to determine the Overall Grand and Reserve Grand Champions for Showmanship.
