HAGERSVILLE—October 20, 2022 marked the post-pandemic return of the Haldimand Abilities Centre’s (HAC) monthly brunch. This is just one of over a dozen programs HAC offers to assist people with dementia, brain injury, or vision loss, and people who want to connect and socialize with others. This was the first time the monthly event included John Ellis, Supervisor of Community Paramedic Services. Ellis was on hand to take the blood pressure and oxygen levels of willing participants and will be able to provide participants with a record of their vitals from month to month. In addition to a delicious breakfast, and the health check, Program Facilitator Aura Remple shared healthy and delicious Crockpot recipes with the in-person group and those joining via Zoom. To sign up for the next HAC brunch on November 17, call 905-768-4488.
