HALDIMAND—For anyone who’s ever wanted to try their hand at Dungeons & Dragons, the Haldimand County Public Library is bringing the popular role-playing game to their Dunnville branch.

This summer, youth aged 13-16 can sign up to learn the basics of Dungeons & Dragons from an experienced Dungeon Master who will lead participants through an adventure deep into the Lost Mines of Phandelver and assist with campaigns.

Dungeons and Dragons is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game that was first published in 1974. The game allows each player to create their own character, and together the group will embark on a fantastical adventure using their imagination and creativity to have fun and problem solve. The game has seen a surge in popularity in recent years thanks to the Netflix show Stranger Things.

Campaigns will run on July 9 and August 20 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
