Haldimand County Official Plan’s final amendment tabled as a result of Council concerns

HALDIMAND—The process of updating Haldimand County’s Official Plan is nearing completion after over two years of meetings and public consultations, with staff presenting a final amendment to Phase 2 of the plan at a meeting last week. However, several Council concerns have tabled the motion for now, while staff work to incorporate new elements that could see additional development in various rural areas of the county.
