Haldimand Hort elects 2019 directors

HALDIMAND—The 2019 directors for the Haldimand Horticultural Society (HHS) were elected at the Annual General Meeting on Thursday, November 15, 2018.

The board is as follows: President – Sharon Slack,  Past President – Nancy Spellen, First Vice President – Alaxandra Lazar,  2nd Vice President – Elsie Eubank,  Secretary – Erene De Silva,  Treasurer – Coby Osinga, and Directors: Gordon Roberts,  Jim Osinga,  Rose Marie Mueller,  Madeline Hagan,  Hanna Jacobs, Dayle M.,  Margaret Meyer-Smith,  Elena Lazar,  Catherine McGill,  Michael Richards,  Jaquie Pitts, and  Adele Brown.

Jaquie Pitts won the Novice Division trophy and Don Reeder won the Wendy Roberts Memorial trophy for top overall points for the year 2018. Second place overall points for the year went to Sharon Slack,  third Deborah Keddy,  fourth Rose Marie Mueller, and fifth Catherine McGill.
