Haldimand Norfolk Board of Health appoints Dr. Alex Hukowich as Interim Acting Medical Officer of Health

HALDIMAND—The Haldimand Norfolk Board of Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Alex Hukowich as Interim Acting Medical Officer of Health commencing Friday, May 21, 2021.

Dr. Hukowich’s appointment coincides with the departure of Dr. Shanker Nesathurai, who served as the district’s Medical Officer of Health since October 2018. Hukowich will support the Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit and Board of Health until an Acting Medical Officer of Health is recruited.
